St. Jude Rally Against Childhood Cancer
Clinton High School participated in a "Campus Wide Pennies War"  fund-raising campaign to help raise money for the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Students donated their spare change, not only to help St. Jude, but to also help a teacher at Clinton High School win a fabulous dinner for two at Shapley's Restaurant.  This year's winner was Mr. John Langworthy, who raised $427.93.  In second place was Ms. Holly with a total of $144.06, and bringing in third place was Mr. Freeny with a total of $137.20.  The grand total for this year's "Campus Wide Pennies War" is $1000.  We would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this campaign, and to DECA for sponsoring this event!  GO ARROWS!!

SADD also sponsored several activities to help St. Jude rally against Childhood Cancer.  Please click here to see how they did!

The Art Club was busy the last few weeks painting signs for the St. Jude pep rally and having a district-wide t-shirt sale.  The t-shirts sold had "St. Jude Rallying Against Childhood Cancer" on the front and the number "62" on the back (representing the year St. Jude was started, 1962).  This event alone raised $2270.00!!  The Art Club plans to start painting three Adirondack chairs for a raffle for St. Jude soon and will also sponsor the April 19th Powder Puff game.  GO ARROWS!!
